My mom has read all Harry Potter books and went to see all the movies when they came out. My dad has neither read a single word of the books nor sat down to watch a single movie.
Mom grabs the tv remote, which actually looks like a magic wand, and waves it around happily at my dad, “Stupefy! Stupefy!”
Rolling his eyes, dad grabbed the remote and pointed it back at mom, “Avada Kedavra!”
I guess the lesson here is it not allow muggles (like dad) to overhear conversations pertaining to magic. It violates the Secrecy Act. Also, being a tv remote, all the wand did was switch on the television.
